Royal fans stunned by striking detail in Wimbledon photos

Royal fans have been left stunned by a striking comparison between two Prince William photos.

After images emerged of Prince William and his son Prince George at the Wimbledon Men's Singles final, fans were quick to point out how strikingly similar the photos were to those taken of Prince William at the tennis championship 31 years ago.

Photos of Prince William and his eight-year-old son show the Duke of Cambridge talking to his son while pointing towards the court, a photo that is almost identical to one taken of Prince William with his mother during the Women's Singles Championship in 1991.

Another snap of both the young Duke of Cambridge and Princess Diana standing and clapping has also been circulating on Twitter due to the similarity to another photo of Prince William and his son.

"1991: Prince William attended the Wimbledon Championships for the first time accompanied by his mother," one wrote on Twitter alongside two images showing the striking resemblance.

"2022: Prince George attended the Wimbledon Championships for the first time accompanied by his parents, The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge."

Fans were stunned by the comparisons shared on Twitter.

"Such beautiful photos! What great memories for them," one commented.

"Beautiful," another said.

"So like your mum William, and George is like you," a third added.

"They look so much alike at that age," somebody else claimed.

During his first Wimbledon outing, Prince George watched Novak Djokovic defeat tennis' bad boy Nick Kyrgios.

Kyrgios shocked the future King as he dropped the F-bomb during an expletive-ridden rant.

He yelled towards the area his sister Halimah and girlfriend Costeen Hastzi were sitting about his team's apparent lack of support, saying, "Do you f***ing care at all?"

Viewers were quick to joke about the moment, with one Twitter user writing, "Today is the day Prince George became a man."

"Kyrgios is really giving Prince George an education in Australian English," a second joked.

"Prince George is getting a masterclass in cursing today," a third wrote.
