But, when Olympia realized that an in-office romance would hurt her credibility, and she broke it off with Elijah–before anything really happened–it looked like she and Julian might reunite and she would forgive him his one cheating transgression. On Thursday's episode, Olympia is dodging Shae, who is working a new case with them, and Olympia draws Matty in as her confidante. But then when Matty has to deal with Shae, she lets something slip. The result is that Shae accosts Julian, and Parade has your exclusive first look in the video above.

Shae walks into Julian’s office and says, “We need to talk. Olympia is avoiding me and Matty just said something odd. Did you tell anyone what happened with us?”
As the season has progressed, Matty and Olympia have become friends, despite Matty’s concern that Olympia may have been involved in the opioid case that Matty is there to expose, and Edwin’s (Sam Anderson) concerns that Matty has lost her objectivity. Tonight, the two attorneys get even closer–and a little tipsy–as they take on Elijah’s cousin’s wrongful termination case.
Matlock airs Thursdays at 9 p.m. ET/PT on CBS. Episodes stream the next day on Paramount+.
