Dexter is finally back, but this time we're going back to the start of the serial killer's story by heading back to how his story started in Dexter: Original Sin. And don't worry, Michael C. Hall is also back as Dexter's inner voice as Patrick Gibson gets his turn to play the forensic blood analyst and man with the ultimate secret. The series might not be the kind of show that you think to watch over the holidays, but considering we all would want to warm up in Miami at the moment, maybe it's not the worst idea that it premiered in December 13.

When does the next episode of Dexter: Original Sin drop?

It actually depends on how you plan to watch the show. If you're a subscriber to

Paramount+ with SHOWTIME then you can actually tune in at midnight ET on Fridays to catch the new episode. However, if you're an old school Showtime cable subscriber, then you can tune in on Sunday nights at 10pm ET/PT.

Here’s the full release schedule for Dexter: Original Sin:

Dexter: Original Sin will have 10 episodes that will air originally on Paramount+ with SHOWTIME every Friday and will later air on Sunday nights at 10 PM ET/PT on Showtime's cable network. The show's first episode was released in December 13, while two new episodes aired on December 20. Every episode will then air weekly excerpt for January 17 when there will be a hiatus for that week. It will continue on a weekly basis after that.
