Emmys 2024 Poll: Who Should Win for Supporting Actress in a Limited Series?
In the Emmy race for Best Supporting Actress in a Limited Series, six of this year’s seven nominees are celebrating the first Emmy nomination of their careers. Which nominee, though, deserves to hear their name called on Emmy night?
Leading the first-time nominees is Baby Reindeer standout Jessica Gunning, for playing obsessive stalker Martha in the haunting Netflix series. Her co-star Nava Mau is also nominated for playing Donny’s love interest Teri, becoming the first transgender woman ever to be nominated in this category. Professional boxer Kali Reis also knocked out a nomination for playing Alaska detective Evangeline Navarro on HBO’s True Detective: Night Country, and Aja Naomi King is in the mix, too, for playing Harriet in Apple TV+’s Lessons in Chemistry.

Plus, Dakota Fanning earned her first nod for playing girlfriend Marge in Netflix’s grifter drama Ripley. Rounding out the field is the category’s lone Emmy veteran, Diane Lane, who earned her first nomination back in 1989 for Lonesome Dove and is nominated here for playing socialite Slim Keith on FX’s FEUD: Capote Vs. The Swans.
