Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield Have Sweet Reunion at 2025 Golden Globes
The former couple dated for four years, and remain friends after their 2015 split
Emma Stone and Andrew Garfield were all smiles as they crossed paths at the 2025 Golden Globes!
The former couple, 36 and 41, respectively, bumped into each other at the annual awards ceremony at the Beverly Hilton on Sunday, Jan. 5. During their run-in, the Poor Things actress and the We Live in Time actor shared a sweet moment on the red carpet alongside her husband, Dave McCary, captured by photographer Greg Williams.
Stone and McCary married in 2020, and welcomed their baby girl, Louise Jean, in March 2021.
As for her reunion with Garfield, the pair met as costars on the set of 2012’s The Amazing Spider-Man for the roles of Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy. They dated for four years until 2015.
Between filming and promoting the releases of The Amazing Spider-Man and 2014's The Amazing Spider-Man 2, the two grew closer — often talking about one another in interviews.
"It's like a dream to work with him. He's obviously one of the greatest actors I think we have alive today and he's also just a remarkable human being," Stone said during a 2014 interview on ABC News. "I love him very much."
They've remained friendly in the years since they split, with Garfield even giving Stone a standing ovation when she won her first Golden Globe in 2017.
Years after their breakup, while speaking of the Birdman actress in a 2017 Vanity Fair interview, Garfield said: "There's so much love between us and so much respect. I'm her biggest fan as an artist."

In 2024, when Garfield was asked to address fans who believe La La Land, the movie musical Stone costarred in with Ryan Gosling, is partially inspired by Garfield's relationship with the actress, he told Esquire, "I guess people need something to believe in."
