Emma Roberts Takes Style Inspo From Aunt Julia in Major Hair Transformation
Emma Roberts is looking more and more like a famous relative with each new haircut, at least according to fans on Instagram.
Over the weekend, the American Horror Story actress revealed she underwent a bit of a transformation, trading in her signature blonde strands for something a little warmer, a tone she called "Sunrise Red."
In a series of back-to-back posts uploaded to the picture-sharing platform, the 33-year-old documented her red-hot transformation. First, she tousled her "before" hair, showing off her dark roots and bleach-blonde length. The Feb. 3 clip then cut to her smiling and playing with her reddish-orange-toned waves.
The Scream Queens alum also shared a set of close-up selfies to offer followers a closer look at her new 'do–which immediately had them drawing comparisons to her aunt, Julia Roberts.
Fans shared gifs of her aunt as a curly redhead in the 1990 rom-com Pretty Woman, gushing over how well the color suits both Emma and her elder.

"Obsessed," a third simply wrote.
Several others thought Emma's latest style update could be hinting at a potential new character in a highly-anticipated project.
"I feel this hair for Scream 7," one wrote before several others chimed in with similar comments like, "Scream 7 hair?" and "we need u in SCREAM 7."
Though fans are clearly hopeful, no official casting announcement has been made to confirm Emma's involvement with the film that's due out next year. That said, she does have a few projects in pre-production, per IMDb, including the action-comedy Verona Spies, the horror-thriller Fourth Wall, and the upcoming comedy Hot Mess.
