Dylan Dreyer Looks Like a Total Country Pop Star in Red Carpet Video From Nashville
Dylan Dreyer packed up a fringed western-inspired look and hit the red carpet in Nashville, Tenn., like a true country star.
The Today meteorologist was photographed at the Grand Ole Opry on Thursday, Sept. 26, ahead of the second-ever People's Choice Country Awards, hosted by Shania Twain.
For the celebrity-studded event, which Dreyer told Parade will be “100% guaranteed fun,” she donned a gorgeous all-white dress with layers of fringe that gave her the appearance of being in constant motion. She paired the look with silver sandal heels, dangling turquoise earrings, a few rings—at least one of which was also turquoise—and a chunky bracelet.
The hairstyle Dreyer selected for the evening gave some fans a double take. Instead of the short bob she's known for rocking, Dreyer wore a long ponytail that reached all the way down her back. “Have you ever seen me with long hair?” she laughed as she did a twirl for a video that Today shared on Instagram.
Dreyer appeared to be at the event solo, with her husband, Brian Fichera, absent as she posed for photographers on the red carpet. The 43-year-old is set to take the stage during the evening's broadcast to present at least one award to a well-deserving artist.
Up for some of this year's biggest awards include artists like Jelly Roll, Kacey Musgraves, Dolly Parton, Beyoncé, Luke Combs, Chris Stapleton, Dan + Shay and Reba McEntire, just to name a few.
Not only that, but viewers are in for a real treat as Kelsea Ballerini, Brad Paisley, Kane Brown, Lady A, Keith Urban, Miranda Lambert and more are set to take the stage for what's expected to be a series of sensational performances.
