"Ollie’s time trying gum. Maybe I shouldn’t have started with a minty icy blast. Or maybe that was a good idea…," she wrote in the caption.

In the video, Oliver does his best to chew the minty gum, his face revealing exactly what he thought about the taste. He then asked his mom, "Can I spit it out?"

Dreyer also added a clip of the moment after when she asked him, "What'd you think?" and he said, "It's bad."

Fans jokingly chided Dreyer for giving Oliver mint-flavored gum for his first time, with replies like, "Come on Mom, start with bubble gum flavored…lol" and "Dirty trick Momma! Give that boy some Bubbalicious, Bazooka, baseball gums, round gumballs! Poor Ollie."

Others commended Oliver for giving it a good try and kindly asking his mother if it was okay to spit it out, such as one who said, "he was such a good sport 👏👏."

"He’s so polite! He seriously asked 'can I spit it out?!?' Awe!! Good job, mama!" wrote someone else.

While Oliver didn't like the mint flavor, fans felt like it might be better this way so that he won't want to try gum again for a while, with a fan telling Dreyer in the comments, "Well that is a good way to turn him off from having gum!! Good reverse psychology!!😂."

A different fan replied, "Too funny!! But maybe he'll wait a long while before wanting to chew gum now. 😄."

Dreyer often shares fun moments with her kids at home like this on social media, and fans love the peek at her day-to-day life outside of work.
