Dunkin’ Fans Celebrate Long-Awaited New Spring Menu Addition: ‘It’s About Time’

Spring is just around the corner, and Dunkin' is gearing up for the season with an all-new selection of menu items—but fans seem most excited about one treat in particular.

Food blogger Snackolator shared Dunkin's spring menu in an Instagram post this week, sharing a photo of two new coffee drinks and a variety of sweet and savory snacks.

"Dunkin is absolutely bringing it for their Spring Menu and I cannot wait to try some of these!" the caption read.

"The first group drops on March 5th and includes the return of the Dunkalatte and the Pistachio Coffee (hot or iced)," Snackolator continued.

"We also get some great food items like the King's Hawaiian Ham and Swiss Pretzel Sliders, the return of the bacon lineup with a breakfast sandwich, snackin' bacon, and wake-up wrap...and then the Chicken Bacon Croissant Stuffers."

Snackolator also noted that the "Easter Lineup" will reportedly debut on April 2, including the "Cotton Candy Filled Donut, Blueberry Sprinkled Munchkins, and a new Spring Munchkins Bucket."

Fans were especially thrilled to hear about the Blueberry Sprinkled Munchkins, though some were confused.

"Cotton candy & blueberry munchkins. It's about time that they did new munchkins flavor," wrote one person, with a second chiming in to say, "Oooh blueberry munchkins!!"

Someone else wondered how the fruit-inspired Munchkins are "different from the current blueberry munchkins," though another commenter noted that they're technically chocolate "with blueberry sprinkles."

It's not often that Dunkin' offers a Munchkin flavor beyond the traditional glazed, jelly, powdered and chocolate options—though a Boston cream Munchkin has been spotted at certain locations, according to Tasting Table, in addition to Butternut Munchkins (more commonly found in the Philippines).
