What is Donna Kelce's Baked Brie?
In an interview with the Today show, Donna says whenever she visits her sons, she whips up a version of her baked brie to bring along. Sometimes, she leans savory with ham, but in this case, she’s all about a dessert-inspired approach.
The move that takes her baked brie over the top? Instead of simply dumping preserves on top of a wheel of brie and calling it a day, Donna wraps the wheel of Brie cheese in crescent dough, drizzles it with maple syrup and adds a handful of chopped nuts along with the preserves. The result is a rich, melty bite that’s slightly tangy from the cherries, crunchy from the nuts, and wrapped in a crowd-pleasing golden, flaky crust. It’s the perfect combination of sweet, nutty, buttery and, of course, cheesy.

How to Make Donna Kelce's Baked Brie
Roll out a can of crescent rolls and cut into two rectangles. Place one rectangle on a baking sheet and center a large round of brie on top. Drizzle with maple syrup, sprinkle with chopped nuts, and spread a generous layer of cherry preserves over the brie. Place the second rectangle of crescent dough over the brie, folding and pressing the edges to seal. Brush the top of the dough with egg wash, then bake at 350° until golden brown, about 30 minutes. Let the baked brie cool for 10 minutes before transferring to a serving platter.
Donna suggests eating her baked brie with crackers or pieces of sourdough bread. If you really want to impress, add a little garnish—something like a fresh sprig of rosemary plays beautifully with the cherries and cheese.

Pair it up. Donna’s favorite wine is rumored to be Barefoot Sauvignon Blanc, which will beautifully with this brie. The crisp, citrusy notes of the wine cut through the richness of the cheese and complement the cherries.
