This Fun-and-Easy Muffin Tin Recipe is Perfect for Your Super Bowl Party

The Super Bowl is the ultimate excuse to gather friends and family for a day of fun, laughter, and, most importantly, incredible food. For me, the highlight of any Super Bowl party isn’t the game—it’s the snack spread! From savory appetizers to indulgent desserts, the food almost feels like a competition to see who can bring the most crowd-pleasing dish. The challenge? Finding something that appeals to everyone.

With so many guests, you need dishes that are universally loved, and that includes keeping kids in mind. It’s tricky to find foods that are easy for little hands to grab and enjoy, while still impressing the adults in the room. That’s why fast, simple recipes are a lifesaver—not just for game day but for weeknight dinners, too.

If you’re ready to take your Super Bowl hosting game to the next level while keeping prep time minimal, content creator and mom Gigi Madanipour shared a fantastic recipe on Instagram (@gigimadanipour) and I want to make these for not only the Super Bowl but also as a quick weeknight meal.

How to Make Tater Tot Burger Cups

You can get the full recipe on GiGi's website, but you'll need frozen tater tots, ground beef and shredded cheese. For the sauce, grab some mayo, mustard, vinegar, relish, garlic powder, paprika, salt and sugar.

Start by placing some tater tots in a muffin tin and baking them for a few minutes. While the tots cook, brown the ground beef and add shredded cheese once it's done and drained. Squish the tots using the back of a spoon, creating little tater tot cups in each muffin tin well. Top with cheese and bake until the cheese melts.

Mix the sauce together and then assemble the burger cups: spoon in the beef mixture, then top with sauce, lettuce and chopped pickles. These cute, delicious, easy burger cups will wow guests of all ages. Plus, it won't take you a lot of time to clean up after, either!

"Trust me on this, this is one viral trend you want to try," Gigi says in her video and I agree! This is a great Super Bowl app, but I think it would make a fun dinner on those nights when I just don't want to cook or don't have time to spend in the kitchen.

Another great perk of these burger cups is that Gigi says you "can also assemble everything ahead of time and just put it together right before serving." We love how easy that is!

I also love that you can mix up the toppings so if you're like me and have three kids who love pickles and three kids who don't, you can add the meat and cheese and then put out various toppings so each person can top their own. That's a major win in my book!
