Domino’s Limited-Edition Collab Promises to ‘Enhance’ Your Pizza

Domino’s has a new collaboration that will delight pizza lovers trying to add a little pizzazz to their dining experience.

The pizza giant has teamed up with a big name in its own field that the brand says pairs perfectly with “everything cheesy.”

“Step aside soda and beer, your new favorite pizza beverage pairing is here!” Domino’s and yellow tail wine announced in a joint statement shared with Parade. They continued, sharing that “the Limited Edition [ yellow tail ] & Domino's Red Blend” is “uniquely crafted to provide the perfect sip with every slice.”

The red wine blend features fruit-forward flavors, and while it was designed to pair best with a traditional pizza, the companies stand by their collaboration and say that any Domino’s toppings (including the controversial pineapple) will go with the beverage.

Dan Kleinman, Deutsch Family Wine & Spirits Chief Brand Officer, said “At [ yellow tail ], we believe that seriously good wine doesn't need to be so serious. We're thrilled to be partnering with Domino's, a brand loved by customers for interesting and exciting creations, to make the everyday pizza night more convenient, special and, most importantly, more fun.”

If red wine’s not your thing but you still want to pair wine with a pizza from Domino’s, yellow tail has you covered. They suggest the pacific veggie pizza for pinot grigio (the citrus notes of the wine will elevate the feta cheese), and philly cheesesteak pizza for their bold cabernet sauvignon.

Fans on social media were excited to hear the news when the brands teased the collaboration, commenting on a shared Instagram post, “Is it wine with pizza or pizza with wine? 😏😂😂 combo of champions 🍕🍷😍,” and calling it “The perfect duo!!!!”
