There are a few essential dishes that always appear on my Thanksgiving dinner table, like crispy onion-topped green bean casserole and roasted turkey with savory gravy. While I love Thanksgiving dinner and all the delights it brings to my kitchen, it’s never crossed my mind to take the components of those dishes, like cranberries and green beans, and throw them on top of a pizza—until now.

DiGiorno’s Thanksgiving Pizza

The company behind the iconic slogan, “It’s not delivery, it’s DiGiorno,” wowed fans last Thanksgiving season when it announced on Instagram that it’d be releasing frozen pizzas topped with classic Thanksgiving ingredients, like diced sweet potatoes and green beans. In addition to a creamy gravy sauce and a combination of cheddar cheese and mozzarella, the pizza, which was only available through DiGiorno’s website, was priced at $11.23, the calendar date of Thanksgiving 2023.

The zany Thanksgiving-inspired frozen pizzas sold out fast, leaving fans hungry for more. One fan called the pizza “perfect to bring to a Friendsgiving party” while another said the frozen food item was “all they wanted this year” for Thanksgiving dinner.

How to Get DiGiorno's Thanksgiving Pizza

If you didn't manage to snag a pizza last year, then you're in luck. Back by popular demand, DiGiorno's limited-edition Thanksgiving pizza will be sold exclusively at Kroger grocery stores, starting this month. The pizza, which features a thick Detroit-style crust with mozzarella, cheddar cheese, and a gravy drizzle, is topped with green beans, crispy onions, dried cranberries, and roasted turkey.

The specialty pizza is a unique way to sneak in some Thanksgiving flavors before the holiday. It would also make a pretty interesting appetizer to serve to guests before the big meal on Nov. 28. If you end up trying it and loving it, a copycat Thanksgiving pizza may be the best use of Thanksgiving leftovers yet.

While there’s no word yet on the price of each pizza, we’re betting on $11.28 per pie, since that’s when Turkey Day 2024 officially hits dining room tables across the country.
