They last appeared together in 2023, when Bo fell into an unfortunate coma.
“There is a saying I love: ‘Life takes you to unexpected places but love always brings you home,’” Alfonso said to TV Insider, which first broke the news. “Anyone who knows me knows how grateful I am to have all of you supporting me and welcoming me back when I’m back in Salem. These episodes with Pete will not disappoint.”
“Just like riding a bike,” added Reckell. “And thank goodness they keep one at the ready for me in Salem. This ride is one we know the fans are really going to love. Stay tuned!”
Alfonso last returned to the show in April to help bid farewell to the character played by Bill Hayes, who died in January at 98.
The iconic couple first appeared together in 1983.
