Christmas-mad Kmart shopper puts up her tree two months early
When is it too early to start preparing for Christmas?
Well, one Kmart shopper decided she couldn't wait any longer and has already put up her Christmas tree, sharing the glamorous results on Facebook.
"Yes, it's early. Don't come at me. Kmart made me do it," Kati, a mum of two and interior design lover from Sydney said jokingly in her post to a group for Kmart fans.
"Some people are very passionate about the rules for Christmas decorating. But I'm a rebel," she added in the comments.

Christmas comes early
Expecting the group to have a crack at her for decorating so early, Kati was surprised to receive over 2,000 likes and 400 comments in just two days.
Other group members even admitted they hadn't been able to help themselves either and had started putting up their decorations already.
"Hahaha, my kids did it 3 weeks ago. Looks awesome," one shared.
Others said that although they hadn't started putting their trees up yet, they were likely to start decorating early this year too.
"It looks amazing! My family have had quite the crappy year so we're putting it up on Nov 1st this year, we're usually strictly Dec 1st people," one mum shared.
"Ok but just know I am going to use this post as back-up for when my husband yells at me for putting my tree up tonight now," another joked.
'Absolutely gorgeous'
Meanwhile many group members were simply inspired by how sophisticated and chic Kati's tree looked.
"This is truly wonderful, well done!!!! Feeling the Christmas spirit," one Kmart fan commented.
"Wow Absolutely gorgeous!!! Looks like a shop display from Myer or David Jones or a high-end store," another mum noted.
Some people even suggested that she should come and decorate their Christmas trees.
"Wait yours is up already looking like a bloody Vogue magazine tree!? Can you come do mine please hahaha," one person wrote.
"My hubby keeps telling me to start a business doing it for other people," Kati commented.
Kati, who shares styling and interior design tips on her Instagram account, revealed to Yahoo Lifestyle: "I used to be very strict about waiting until the 1st of December but since the pandemic I've decided waiting for an arbitrary date is just silly given how happy it makes me."
Tree decorating tips
Kati also shared some of her tips for getting a picture-perfect Christmas tree.
"This probably sounds silly but I map it out," she revealed.
"For example, I try and have 16 of the feature baubles... four for the front, back and sides. Then I alternate left and right with each. The last step is to fill the gaps with smaller decorations," she revealed.
"It's also a good idea to invest in a lot of tree picks," she told Yahoo Lifestyle. "They add so much dimension and volume and help achieve the full look I love."
She even generously shared the exact Kmart decorations she used to help others get her look, pictured above.
