Chris Hemsworth and Tom Holland’s 2015 movie In the Heart of the Sea has just reached number one on Netflix.

According to Tom’s Guide, the adventure/action film took over the No. 1 spot from the Netflix thriller Carry-On on Jan 6.

This comes ten years after its release, which saw it flounder at the box office after failing to reach its $100 million budget. It also bagged a 42% score on Rotten Tomatoes.

Inspired by a true story, In the Heart of the Sea is based on Herman Melville's 1851 novel Moby-Dick, which tells the story of the whaling ship Essex’s distressing journey in 1820. Captain George Pollard Jr, played by Benjamin Walker, and Hemsworth’s, 41, first mate Owen Chase, lead the crew on a routine whaling expedition. However, events turn left when a large sperm whale sinks their ship.

“The gaining is fine, you just eat a lot and you lift weights but that was underfed, which led to a pretty moody existence and inconsistent emotions,” he said.

He added that his 500 calories a day diet included boiled eggs, salads and “nothing much.”

“You play all sorts of games – if I eat this maybe I don’t eat that,” Hemsworth said. “The insanity is nuts.”
