Chris Hemsworth called out over hilarious detail: 'Who’s gonna tell him’

The cake reads “Feliz Navidid Elsa,” which translates to Merry Christmas instead of Happy Birthday.

Chris poked fun at the mistake in his caption, writing: “For those of you who speak Spanish you’ll notice that my Spanish has improved to a level of perfection here with a beautiful message for Elsa Pataky.”

People instantly made fun of the Thor star in the comments, with one writing: “Who’s gonna tell him!”

“It obviously shows all the hard work,” another joked.

“Your Spanish is definitely…something! Happy birthday Elsa,” a fan added.

Some even pointed out that the cake had more than one error, as ‘Navidad’ was spelt wrongly as ‘Navidid’.

“Feliz Navidad? I’ll let it slide only cause it’s you lol,” one wrote.

“At least Feliz = Happy is okay,” a fan commented.

Elsa Pataky spills on what it’s like to work with Chris Hemsworth

This comes after Elsa told Yahoo Lifestyle that it was “so fun” to work with her husband Chris on her Netflix film Interceptor.

The former Home and Away star worked as an executive producer on Elsa’s film and even had a small cameo.

"Yeah, it was so fun because he knows about all these movies and how to do them, what is safe and what is not, and even how to punch the right way in front of the camera," she said.

"It was good to have him with me, and he really supported me in that movie. He wanted me to do this movie and just kind of put it all together in a way and surrounded me by a really good team.

"Because it was my first real action, lead role, it was so good to have him holding my hand in a way."
