The Chi Ladies Get Down in Season 7 House Party — 2025 FIRST LOOK (Exclusive)
It looks like Emmett and Kiesha are throwing one heck of a house party in The Chi Season 7 — so please consider this exclusive photo your formal invitation.
The Paramount+ With Showtime series ended Season 6 on a somber and deadly note, with the deaths of longtime villain Otis “Douda” Perry and Rob, both by Douda’s underling, Nuck. Nuck then dumped Rob’s body on the steps of the townhouse owned by Rob’s mother, Alicia (played by Lynn Whitfield). The episode’s final moments found Alicia screaming over her son’s bloody and lifeless body. (Read a finale recap here.)

Alicia is having a decidedly better time in the picture above, which continues TVLine’s month-long #2025FirstLook series. She, along with Yolonda Ross’ Jada and Tai Davis’ Tracy, get their groove on in the foreground while Darnell (Rolando Boyce) hangs out in back with some of the other fellas.
Whitfield has even more reason to kick up her heels: In August, she was promoted to series regular for Season 7.
The Chi was renewed for Season 7 in May, ahead of the Season 6 premiere. Production began that month in Chicago; the series will return sometime in 2025.
