Cheez-It Is Adding 2 New Flavors to Its Permanent Lineup

Cheez-It has been a roll these last few months. Between the first-ever Cheez-It food truck that graced college football towns—and gave us the Cheez-It pimento cheese of our dreams—and the new Cheesy Jalapeño flavor hitting stores now, we’ve seen some seriously crafty innovations from the brand. And that’s not even counting the Cheez-It Citrus Bowl, which featured a flying Cheez-It field goal—and gave the viral Pop-Tarts Bowl a hilarious run for its money.

We’re just a few weeks into 2025, but Cheez-It is already proving it’s gearing up for a big year with the release of two all-new flavors.

In celebration of National Pizza Day, which also happens to be the biggest snacking day of the year Super Bowl Sunday, on Feb. 9, Cheez-It is adding two new pizza-inspired flavors to its line-up: Cheez-It Duoz Pesto + Mozzarella and Cheez-It Snap’d Margherita Pizza.

Cheez-It Introduces 2 New Pizza-Flavored Snacks

After Cheez-It discontinued its Cheez Pizza flavor in 2023, fans were heartbroken that “the best” flavor was sent to an untimely grave. Even though the brand tried to fill the pizza-sized hole in customers’ hearts with the release of Cheez-It Puff’d Cheese Pizza snacks, fans still wanted more. Thankfully, Cheez-It is bringing pizza-inspired flavors to the grocery store in two new ways.

First, the Cheez-It Duoz Pesto + Mozzarella snacks combine two Italian flavors into the perfect bite of herby, garlicky pesto and extra-cheesy mozzarella for a more pizza-adjacent flavor.

But, if you want to go all in on saucy, cheesy goodness, the new Snap’d Extra Crunchy Margherita flavor does just that. Each thin and crispy cracker is coated in Margherita pizza-inspired seasoning to pack tomato, basil, olive oil, and mozzarella flavor in every (extra) crunchy bite.

Pizza Cheez-It fans will also be excited to know that the two new flavors aren’t a limited-time offering for Super Bowl snacking. Cheez-It is adding both the Duoz Pesto + Mozzarella and Snap’d Margherita Pizza flavors to its permanent lineup.
