'Whoops': Charlize Theron's wardrobe malfunction caught on camera
She may already be an Acadamy Award winner but Charlize Theron still gets super excited when she finds out she’s up for another gong.
So excited, in fact, that she forgets what she’s wearing and unintentionally causes herself to suffer a wardrobe malfunction.
That’s exactly what happened to the 44-year-old actor on Thursday when she received word that her new film Bombshell was nominated for a Screen Actor’s Guild or SAG award for Outstanding Performance by a Cast.
The Monster star was clad in just a slinky blue robe that slipped open to reveal (almost) all as she bounced up and down on her bed shouting, “We just got Cast!”
Charlize appears to realise she’s flashed her friends in the room, pulling the bottom of her robe together and collapsing into a fit of giggles.
The hilarious moment was captured on camera by one of her pals and - after some crafty editing that censored any x-rated parts - was shared on Charlize’s Twitter account.
“Whoops. Got a bit too excited about the #SAGAwards nomination for our #BombshellMovie cast...CONGRATS ALL YOU BEAUTIFUL HUMANS!!! So grateful to have gone on this journey with you all,” the mum-of-two captioned the video.
Charlize is right to be giddy over the news as she produced and starred in the buzz-worthy flick along with A-lister Aussies Nicole Kidman and Margot Robbie.
The South African-born beauty plays real-life Fox News correspondent Megyn Kelly while Nicole takes up the role of her colleague Gretchen Carlson.
Margot portrays Kayla Pospisil, a fictional character intended to represent all female Fox employees.
The three women band together to expose late CEO Roger Ailes, played by John Lithgow, for sexual harassment.
Nicole and Margot also have reason to celebrate after receiving Golden Globe nods for Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress respectively.
