Celebrity Apprentice’s Lord Sugar slammed after arriving in Sydney
Celebrity Apprentice boss Lord Alan Sugar has received backlash after revealing that he’s recently arrived in Sydney.
The 74-year-old told his followers on Twitter on Sunday that he would be quarantining at the Sheraton hotel for two weeks.
“Nice view from the 21st floor,” he captioned a video showing his surroundings.
In a follow-up tweet, Lord Sugar said that he plans on testing out his new sports sunglasses “on the streets of Sydney”.

He also explained that he had flown from London to Dubai with Emirates Airline, praising it as “the best airline in the world”.
Channel Nine confirmed to Yahoo Lifestyle that Lord Sugar has arrived Down Under to film the upcoming sixth season of Celebrity Apprentice Australia.
A number of social media users have since expressed outrage over the business magnate’s arrival in the country as they have loved ones overseas who are unable to come to Australia.
“Lucky you - been separated from my daughter and grandsons for almost two years and yet here you are bragging that you are there. It’s amazing what having money can get you,” one follower tweeted.
“So my double vaccinated parents can't come for a second year running but you can,” another wrote. “It’s a joke!”
“Really!? Nice view hey? Do you know how many Australian citizens can’t see their family because of flight caps and restrictions and you’re up there rubbing it in our faces,” someone else shared.
Meanwhile, one person urged others to “give the man a break” because “he’s worked hard to get where he is”.
Celebrity Apprentice All-Stars
Lord Sugar’s arrival comes shortly after rumours that the next season of Celebrity Apprentice Australia will be an all-stars format.
Season four winner Sophie Monk recently spoke to Yahoo Lifestyle about the gossip and whether she’d be keen to participate for a second time.
“No because I won’t win,” she laughed. “It's a tough show that one. I worked so much, it was incredible.
“Would I go in it again? Never say never, but I don't know. It’s a lot of work.”
