Catherine Zeta-Jones strips down to wish hubby Michael Douglas a happy birthday: 'Running out of gift ideas'
Zeta-Jones joked that Douglas' gift was either going to be the racy pic or "golf balls."
Catherine Zeta-Jones decided to ring in husband Michael Douglas's birthday in the buff this year.
The couple wished each other happy birthday in a series of Instagram posts on their shared Sept. 25 birthday. But one of Zeta-Jones's posts stole the show - a racy portrait of the actress staring at herself in a bathroom mirror, wearing only a strappy pair of high heels.
"In my birthday suit!" Zeta-Jones captioned the photo, joking, "After over 25 years of sharing my birthday day with my husband, I am running out of gift ideas! This is gift option two, golf balls being option one… of course."
Douglas responded in tamer fashion with a tasteful head shot of his wife of 24 years in full glam, which he captioned, "To my birthday sister, I love you with all my heart! May your new year be the best!"

The Zeta-Jones-Douglas love train is clearly still running at full speed, with Zeta-Jones sharing a second celebratory post in honor of Douglas, a candid shot attributed to their "friend," Simca heir Jean Pigozzi. "Happy Birthday to Michael and to me!! This was us on our birthday 25 years ago! I love you with all my heart."

Married in a lux ceremony at New York's iconic Plaza Hotel in 2000, Zeta-Jones and Douglas have been together ever since, making them one of Hollywood's most enduring power couples.
The couple were repeatedly called upon to defend their 25-year age difference at the outset of their relationship ("I’m a pretty held together 56 year old and she’s a pretty mature 31 year old," Douglas said in 2001), but their bond has withstood the test of time. Over the years they've welcomed two children, been candid about health battles, dealt with a stalker, and remain as playful as newlyweds 24 years on.
