Keeping your Christmas lights tangle-free year to year seems like an impossible task, but a $15 buy from Bunnings looks to have finally saved us from that frustration.
The 31L Christmas light storage box from the popular hardware store has gone viral after an eager shopper shared her discovery in a popular Bunnings Facebook group.
“These boxes from Bunnings are so good for storing lights,” the woman wrote, sharing photos of her neatly wrapped lights.
“We put labels on each reel and and plug so no mixing up for next year.”
Each box can store up to four sets of 500 lights, and are a stackable design making them even better for storage.
They can be bought in store or online unless sold out prior.
Given the response to the Facebook post – over 1.3K shares – you’ll likely have to be quick to get your hands on any, with plenty of people calling the product ‘genius’.
“Off to get some tomorrow, this will work amazing,” one person commented.
“These look like a great idea,” another agreed.
“I need one of these in my life,” one person said, while another was clearly even more eager to make use of the clever design, writing: “I just bought 30 of these to organise everything.”
