Brynne Edelsten shares 'miracle' pregnancy news

Socialite Brynne Edelsten has shared the exciting news that she is pregnant with her first child.

The 38-year-old took to social media to share a photo of her ultrasound, along with the hashtags #babyontheway and #miracle.

"Miracles do happen," the reality TV star captioned the image shared on her Instagram and Facebook accounts.

"Each is another day closer to meeting the love of my life," she added.

Her post was flooded with congratulations from followers, with fellow former SAS Australia contestant and TV presenter Erin Holland commenting: "Congrats Brynne!"

"This is such wonderful news to hear. Congratulations Brynne!" MAFS star Sarah Roza wrote.

The Block star Tanya Guccione also commented: "Congratulations Brynne what beautiful news."

Brynne's time on SAS Australia was short-lived, after she quit voluntarily just six hours into the challenge.

During the show she did briefly touch on her relationship with Geoffrey Edelsten, the controversial businessman who died in June.

“I am more than Geoffrey’s ex-wife,” she said. “I’m not a gold digger. I can get through anything.”

Brynne did not mention the baby’s father in this post, but in an interview with New Idea earlier this year she said boyfriend Brok Eastwood was "the one".

SAS Australia fans were shocked during the first episode when the contestants of the show were told to strip down to their underwear 20 minutes into the show, before going completely nude in front of each other.

Brynne Edelsten was seen wearing a regular brown bra with some viewers wondering why she hadn't thought to wear a sports bra.

Former SAS Australia star Candice Warner confessed to Yahoo Lifestyle before the last series she didn't expect Brynne to last long on the show.

"Brynne Edelsten is incredible for putting her hand up and giving it a go," she said.

"And I think that she will surprise a few people but I don't know if she'll be there towards the end.

"I just don't know if she's got that physical stamina to be there to the end, mentally she probably is very tough, but physically, I just don't know if she will have it."
