Brutal claim about Prince William and Prince Harry's next reunion: 'At his funeral'
A friend close to Prince William doesn't hold high hopes for a reunion between the brothers anytime soon.
Friends of Prince William have reportedly claimed that the Prince of Wales will not invite his brother, Prince Harry, to his coronation, revealing the only time they are likely to reunite is at their father, King Charles' funeral.
"Things are totally frozen between the two of them. It is hard to overstate how utterly William feels betrayed and hurt on a very personal level," a friend told The Daily Beast. "The two brothers were so close growing up that they would finish each other’s sentences. Amid all the trauma of their mum dying and their dad being quite distant, it was an amazing thing to witness."

While the friend said they were "really struck" by Harry's honesty about the importance of his relationship with William when they were kids, it made the fact that Harry sold out his family, particularly his brother, "even more inexplicable".
Speaking about claims that Harry wouldn't be invited to William's coronation, the insider added, "I believe it 100 percent. Why would William and Kate want all the distraction and circus that his presence would bring? I suspect that William will see Harry one more time in his life in the flesh — at their father’s funeral."
A former Buckingham Palace staffer also told the publication, "Planning for William’s coronation is well underway, and as I understand it there are no plans to invite Harry. It’s hardly surprising when you look at how poisoned the well has become."
'Pushes his buttons'
It comes after claims William is also upset with Harry and his wife Meghan Markle for continuing to refer to the Princess of Wales as 'Kate' instead of 'Catherine', which she has previously told friends that she would like to be known as.
William was also reportedly annoyed that they refer to her as 'Kate' publicly, like in their statement of well wishes after she shared her cancer diagnosis with the world.

One friend told The Daily Beast, "Of course it’s an utterly trivial thing, but those of us who know William know that it is one of the things that pushes his buttons. Pushing his buttons while he was going through his wife’s cancer seemed an entirely unnecessary and deliberate irritation."
