Brooke Shields Shares Unfiltered Thoughts on Meeting Taylor Swift’s Mom at The Eras Tour
Brooke Shields revealed the sweet gesture that Taylor Swift’s mom made for her daughters when they attended an Eras Tour show last year.
The mom of two reflected on her experience at the concert during a recent appearance on the Call It What It Is podcast. Her episode of the show was released on Jan. 13.
The Eras Tour came up after host Jessica Capshaw informed Shields, “I love Taylor Swift.”
“Oh, I had the best time in my life there, dancing with her mother,” Shields said, referencing her attendance at an Eras Tour show last November. The experience “was surreal,” she added.
Capshaw then offered her own thoughts on the pop superstar’s mom, Andrea Swift. She was “so kind” to Capshaw’s daughter, the Grey’s Anatomy actress said before revealing that Andrea also “gave her the bracelet off her wrist.”
The memory reminded Shields that she too had a similar interaction with Andrea. “She gave one to my daughters, too,” the Endless Love actress revealed.
Shields first shared that she spent time with Andrea in an Instagram post on Nov. 26, 2024. Her 13-part Instagram carousel documented her time at one of the Eras Tour shows in Toronto, Ontario, which she attended with her two daughters, 21-year-old Rowan and 18-year-old Grier. Shields shares both daughters with her husband, Chris Henchy.
In addition to photos of friendship bracelet-covered wrists and a snapshot capturing Shields’ look of amazement at the packed venue, the post contained a couple of photos showing Shields embracing the “Cruel Summer” songstress’ mom.
“My reaction for the whole show 😂,” Shields wrote at the time in reference to the first photo included in her post. Her caption continued by declaring she was “In awe” of the “Fortnight” singer before urging her own fans to check out the snapshots of her new “friendship bracelet collection from all of the nice ‘swifties’ I met!!”
