Bob Dylan to reunite with Willie Nelson for Outlaw Music Festival tour
Amid his resurgence in the pop-culture mainstream, Bob Dylan will rejoin Willie Nelson for the latest edition of the country music icon's Outlaw Music Festival.
The singer-songwriter will be part of a lineup led by Nelson and his Family band, along with Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats, Trampled by Turtles and Myron Elkins.
Dylan is a longtime road warrior — his concert schedule was called the Never Ending Tour for decades — but his stint with Nelson arrives amid revived interest and a new generation of fans: The Timothée Chalamet-starring biopic "A Complete Unknown" has been a box-office hit and award-season success, piling up eight Oscar nominations.
Nelson launched the Outlaw fest as a one-off Pennsylvania event in 2016 before taking the concept on the road the next year. Dylan was among the artists on that inaugural tour.
When is Outlaw Music Festival?
The 2025 Outlaw Music Festival will kick off May 13 in Phoenix and wrap up Sept. 19 in East Troy, Wisconsin, with a revolving lineup of acts that includes Sheryl Crow, Wilco, Red Clay Strays and others.
