Yahoo Lifestyle Blue Ivy Carter Supports Mom Beyoncé in Classic Ballgown at the Grammys 2025
Blue Ivy Carter favored jewel tones at the 2025 Grammy Awards on Sunday in Los Angeles. The daughter of Beyoncé and Jay-Z looked on as her mother took home the award for Best Country Album for “Cowboy Carter.”
Carter sported a strapless violet satin ballgown, accessorizing with a diamond necklace, bracelets and hoop earrings. She wore her highlighted brunette tresses in curls, while her makeup consisted of a burgundy lip and pink blush.

Beyoncé is the first Black artist to win in the Best Country Album category.
“I think sometimes genre is a code word to keep us in our place as artists,” the singer said in her acceptance speech. “I just want to encourage people to do what they’re passionate about and to stay persistent. Wow, I’d like to thank my beautiful family, all of the artists that were collaborators. Thank you. This wouldn’t have been this album without you. I’d like to thank God again and my fans, and I still am in shock, so thank you so much for this honor.”
In December, Carter walked the red carpet alongside her mother at the world premiere of “Mufasa: The Lion King.” She made her film debut in the Disney sequel, voicing Simba and Nala’s daughter Kiara.
Carter wore a custom strapless ballgown by Christian Siriano, which featured a sweetheart neckline and a draped bodice
“Blue you look like a goddess and we loved making this for you,” the designer wrote on Instagram.
Beyoncé added to the social media fanfare, saying she and her family “could not be prouder” of Carter.
“My gorgeous baby girl,” the “Cowboy Carter” artist gushed. “This is your night. You worked hard and you did such a beautiful job as the voice of Kiara…Keep shining.”
The 67th Grammy Awards, hosted by Trevor Noah at Los Angeles’ Crypto.com Arena, celebrated the best in music and raised funds for wildfire relief efforts in California and honoring first responders. Beyoncé led the nominations with a record-breaking 11 nods. Other top nominees included Charli XCX, Billie Eilish, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, Sabrina Carpenter, Chappell Roan and Taylor Swift.
