Shane Warne's bikini model ex Emily Sears at centre of social media scandal

With over 4.8 million followers on Instagram, it’s safe to say Australian bikini model Emily Sears is very popular on social media.

Now the 34-year-old, who has previously been linked to retired Aussie cricketer Shane Warne, has revealed her identity has been stolen by an unknown Instagram user.

“This isn’t and never will be me,” she wrote in a message shared on her Instagram stories.

“Please report any fake accounts if they dm!” she added.

Attached was also a screenshot of the account @emily_sears_official, claiming to be the model.

A look at Emily’s actual Instagram account reveals the array of glam, bikini and fitness snaps she shares to keep her fans up to date on her professional and personal life.

Speaking of personal life, it was back in 2017 when the model fuelled speculation she was dating Shane Warne.

At the time, the pair were pictured looking very cosy while out and about together in Los Angeles.

Emily attracted attention back in 2016 when she reached out to partners of men who’d sent explicit photos of their genitalia, and shared the responses on Twitter.

“The message we really want to send is that this happens to so many women, not just models with a following," she told The Huffington Post at the time.

“I've had girlfriends of mine deny men on dating apps, only to have them search for them on LinkedIn and other profiles, sending completely inappropriate messages.”
