Shane Warne’s changing looks over the past decade have been headline-making to say the least.

From the reappearance of his golden locks, to his infamous Liz Hurley-era makeover during the pair’s relationship, the 49-year-old knows how to keep himself young.

Now, the cricket legend has revealed the secrets behind his impressive recent 14kg weight loss, telling Melbourne’s Triple M's Hot Breakfast, and how he intends to ultimately reach a goal weight.

"You have dropped 14kg, what have you been doing?" host Eddie McGuire asked his guest.

"I've been doing traditional Chinese medicine, I've been doing training and things like that,” Shane replied.

“I'm trying to lose another three or four more to get down to 80kg but I haven't had any work done to my head. I haven't had, whatever they call it, fillers, injections and all that sort of stuff!"

The father-of-three, who at his most weighed 98kg, went on to explain the reason behind his health kick, which closely follows his attendance at the recent Cricket World Cup.

"I feel great, I'm 50 this year so and the Ashes is just coming up so I thought now it's time [to lose weight]," he said.

"By the end of the summer, England's summer, I'll probably be a fat bastard again from drinking pints!"

While Shane’s legions of fans are likely surprised by the cricketer’s new look, it’s far from the first time he’s switched things up.

In 2012, he famously shifted 12kg with the help of then-fiancee Liz Hurley, crediting the weight loss to a shake-based supplement.

The star has also been undergoing anti-balding since the mid-2000s in a bid to keep his luscious blonde locks firmly in place.
