Mila Kunis Swapped Her Signature Dark Hair for a Cherry-Cola Red Shade
Dua Lipa and Zendaya are also fans of the trendy hue.
A new year means a new hair color for Mila Kunis. The Black Swan actress has rarely deviated from her go-to beauty formula over the years, sporting the same middle-parted long dark brown hair that she had during her early That ‘70s Show days. However, Kunis appeared to be ready for a new hair era in 2025 as she ditched her brunette locks for a dramatic new color beloved by A-listers like Dua Lipa and Zendaya.
While stepping out for a spa appointment with her husband Ashton Kutcher on Friday, January 18, Kunis took her freshly-colored cherry-cola red hair out for a spin. The new look–which added a lighter auburn-hued tint to her brown hair–appeared to be a subtle iteration of the burgundy hair color that was last summer’s ultimate cool-girl dye job. While Kunis has previously experimented with subtle balayage and ombré highlights, she went for a full color change this time. Her hair featured cinnamon, auburn, and copper shades, giving it a slightly warmer tone than the cooler color she’s gravitated towards in the past.
The Bad Moms star complemented her new hair with a taupe crewneck sweater, a long camel peacoat, black workout leggings, and long white Alo dad socks. Kunis, who sported a fresh-faced beauty look for her pre-weekend outing, finished off her look with a pair of white tennis shoes and gold-rimmed black aviator sunglasses.
Kunis has strayed from her cool-toned dark brown in the past for movie roles, like the short blonde bob wig she donned for 2018's The Spy Who Dumped Me.
Kunis isn’t the only celebrity to bring the cherry-cola aesthetic into 2025, as Zendaya stepped out on the Golden Globe Awards red carpet with a new copper-tinged retro bob that complemented the sunset hues of her orange Louis Vuitton ballgown.
