Mike “Boogie” Malin is in legal trouble once again.

The Big Brother alum was arrested on Jan. 29 after allegedly shoplifting from multiple CVS stores in the San Fernando Valley region of Los Angeles, the Burbank Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE.

Malin was allegedly caught by an employee at the first CVS and returned the item when confronted. He then fled in his vehicle and headed for another location. Because "officers understand that suspects will often target multiple stores of the same brand when committing thefts," BPD told PEOPLE they scanned the area and found Malin's car still running with no one inside.

They waited for the reality star to return to his vehicle, and detained him while they investigated.

According to police, an eyewitness positively identified Malin as the individual who stole two bottles of alcohol and some energy drinks from the second CVS location. An employee later signed a citizen’s arrest form for the first theft.

Malin was taken to jail for misdemeanor theft and was later released with a citation for a court appearance. TMZ was the first to report the news.

This isn’t the first time Malin has been in trouble with the law. Most recently, in 2019, he was arrested and found guilty of felony stalking former Big Brother costar Will Kirby.

Court records show that Kirby was granted a restraining order, and per TMZ, Malin was sentenced to 2 years probation and ordered to pay Kirby $44,000.
