Bath and Body Works Customers Go Wild Over New Limited-Edition Products: 'Buying the Entire Collection'
Did Cinderella’s fairy godmother just team up with the genie from Aladdin to make Bath and Body Works fans' dreams come true? It certainly feels that way after the retail chain announced that it’s joining forces with Disney.
Bath and Body Works is releasing a new limited-edition collection, its largest collaboration to date, on Feb. 16 that features a whopping 85 products inspired by fairy-tale princesses.
Six new scents, inspired by Ariel (The Little Mermaid), Belle (Beauty and the Beast), Cinderella, Jasmine (Aladdin), Moana, and Tiana (The Princess and the Frog) will be featured in a variety of products, from body mists, creams, and washes to hand soaps and sanitizers. Fans will also be able to enjoy scented candles and decorative accessories in line with the Disney characters.
Each scent is inspired not just by the princess herself, but by her film’s setting. Cinderella’s scent includes gardenia, musk, and blue amber, while Belle’s includes rose, buttercup, and vanilla.
Jasmine’s scent features, of course, jasmine flowers, as well as currant and wood, while the mermaid princess Ariel’s scent smells like the ocean with sea salt, citrus and coral water notes.
Water lily and amber feature prominently in Tiana’s scent, while Moana’s smells like plumeria and coconut.

Fans were thrilled by the news, rushing to social media to declare that they “can’t wait” and that they’ll be “buying the entire collection.”
Others agreed, commenting, “I must have the whole collection,” and stating that they’re “so excited.”
Though most of the comments were positive, some fans were disappointed by the princess selection, asking for other characters to also be included in the collection. “But what about Rapunzel?” asked one fan, and another spoke directly to the brand to say, “Yall BETTER have Aurora.”
Though the brand didn’t give many details, a reply to one of the comments insinuated that this may just be the first part of the collaboration, with the Bath and Body Works official Instagram account stating, “Hi there 💗 stay tuned for more info soon 🤫.”
