Bachie finale spoiler: Carlin spotted in Fiji

He’s been tipped to win Bachelorette Angie Kent’s heart from the start, but, in a potential spoiler just days before the show’s big finale, it looks like handsome fitness trainer Carlin Sterritt may not be ‘the one’ after all.

Over the weekend, the 30-year-old member of the Top 3 was spotted in an entirely different country, soaking up the rays in sunny Fiji – sans Angie.

In a photo supplied to Yahoo Lifestyle, Carlin can be seen relaxing by a pool sans shirt, sporting blue and white swim shorts and a black cap covering his eyes.

If it is indeed Carlin in the photo, he may simply be laying low abroad as he waits for The Bachelorette finale to air – whatever the result.

The Pacific island also happens to be where Bachie spin-off series Bachelor In Paradise is filmed, which may alternatively suggest that Carlin is one of the season three cast members looking for a second chance at love.

And the actor/model - and part-time retail worker - may not have been the only Bachie star in Fiji either, with our insider saying they believe they also saw BIP host Osher Günsberg, Carlin’s fellow Bachelorette star Jamie Doran, and Bachelor runner up Abbie Chatfield - who has been all but confirmed for BIP.

Yahoo Lifestyle has contacted Channel 10 for comment.

Angie and Carlin’s rocky romance

Smitten Angie looked to be onto a winner with Carlin right from episode one, gifting him the coveted 24-hour rose, but shortly after, Carlin dropped one hell of a bombshell - he’s actually married, and has been for three years.

While he and his soon-to-be ex-wife have filed for divorce after living apart for a year and a half, the news left Angie reeling.

The pair appeared to have patched things up during the show’s hometown dates, however Carlin’s Fijian ‘getaway’ suggests there’s no happily ever after for the two.

The news comes as another blow to the ex-Gogglebox star, who recently discovered that another member of the Top 3, intruder Ryan Anderson, had actually applied for Ali Oetjen's season in 2018.

The Bachelorette finale airs 7.30 Wednesday and Thursday on 10.
