Bachelor Jimmy reveals unseen X-rated moment from his season

Jimmy and Holly's single date got very heated.

Former Bachelor Jimmy Nicholson has revealed an X-rated moment from his season of the dating show that never made it to air.

Comparing his season of The Bachelor to the current season, which featured Felix Von Hofe having a rather risqué body-painting date with bikini-clad Krystal Thomas in episode one, Jimmy tells Yahoo Lifestyle that he and Holly Kingston shared a similar racy moment during filming that never aired on TV.

“There were some paintbrushes also extending in my season,” he laughs, referencing Felix’s suggestive comment.

“On one particular date with Holly, we were in a very, very cold little pond - I'm talking freezing cold - and I went to the date wearing underpants, board shorts and I had a change of clothes.

“I went in at the start because just in case things got a bit heated in the very cold pool I wanted to make sure that everything was withheld. And so that was fine, until the end of the scene where I had to say to Holly, ‘You're gonna need to keep hugging me for a little bit here and just let things simmer’.”

While he doesn’t give too much away, Jimmy says things only got more awkward as the date went on.

“Later on in the day, we were on a bridge over a little river stream,” he details. “My undies were already used, they were wet, so I was free balling in a pair of khaki shorts, and we had a blanket over us.

“Let's just say… I definitely got excited and we needed some cover up at the end of the scene.”

'Very awkward'

Despite their shared explicit nature, Holly asserts that there’s a major difference between her date with Jimmy and Felix and Krystal’s blind date.

“Can I just say, [our date] was two and a half months into filming,” she points out. “Imagine that (Felix and Krystal’s behaviour) on the first date.”

“I would have been very uncomfortable with that,” Jimmy agrees, “because the last thing I want is people getting those ‘player vibes’ or whatever.

“But credit to him, and her. It seems like Felix is just like, ‘I'm gonna go on here and be myself and because this season’s different I can be myself and get away with it’, and I think that's great. Whereas if it was me, I knew that I had to be the most polished version of myself so I would have been very, very awkward in that scene on night one.”
