Bachelor Jimmy’s secret message to contestant after their elimination
The current season of The Bachelor has been nothing short of dramatic, with the latest bombshell coming from recently eliminated contestant Elena Wee.
The 33-year-old revealed exclusively to Yahoo Lifestyle that Bachelor Jimmy Nicholson had left her a secret message after she exited the mansion.
Elena says that she was “blindsided” when she didn’t receive a rose from Jimmy because they already had a connection from before the show even began.
“The gym that I run my personal training business out of, he also trained there with one of my really good mates,” she reveals.

Elena adds that she and Jimmy “definitely recognised each other” when she first arrived on the red carpet.
“We’ve exchanged coffees before, but that’s probably as saucy as it got before we went into the Bachelor mansion,” she laughs.
“I definitely mentioned that to the other girls at the very first cocktail party. I don’t think people were too happy about that one.”
While the personal trainer was sent home on Wednesday night’s episode, she says that their on-screen goodbye hug wasn’t their last form of communication.
“There was a message from him waiting for me when I got out,” she discloses. “I think maybe he felt like he needed to because we had known each other prior to the show.
“It was a lovely message saying thank you and that he didn't want to waste my time really, because he didn't get a chance to explain himself while we were there.
“He's a really lovely guy actually. I hope he finds what he’s looking for.”
Elena believes that she was very “naive” when she went on The Bachelor, especially in comparison to other girls who she says went out of their way to impress Jimmy and get air time.
“I didn't really take into consideration the fact that I'm going to be on TV and there's going to be cameras everywhere and it was really, really intense,” she says.
“Honestly, my plan was to come in and be genuine and just be myself. Whereas I think a lot of the other girls had really watched every single second of previous seasons and come in with some serious strategy.”
She went on to say that the mansion was full of “large personalities”, which often created a tense environment for everyone.
“I think there was a lot of cattiness and drama, even going on when the cameras were off,” she admits.
“I don't think it's possible not to have tension in a house which has that many females in it.”
