Bachelor’s Alex Nation welcomes son after ‘intense’ birth: ‘So in love’

Former Bachelor star Alex Nation has officially welcomed her second child into the world, a son named Maxwell Keegan Jory.

Alex’s newborn is her first child with boyfriend Carson Jory, who she went ‘Instagram official’ with back in November.

The 30-year-old shared the news with a sweet photo cradling her little one alongside Carson on social media, adding that she gave birth on Friday afternoon.

“20.08.21 3.20pm. Maxwell Keegan Jory,” she captioned the post. “His entrance was intense and it was beautiful. We are so in love.”

The reality TV star also shares a 10-year-old son, Elijah, with her ex-husband.

Alex, who won Richie Strahan’s season of The Bachelor in 2016 and then later appeared in the second season of Bachelor In Paradise, announced her pregnancy in January.

“I wonder if you’ll have your father’s eyes? Will be you be stubborn like your mother?” she wrote online. “See you soon little darling.”

Her pregnancy journey has been well-documented on Instagram, including the design process of her nursery.

She also recently admitted that she would like to give an all-natural birth “a red hot crack”.

A number of Alex’s Bachelor season four co-stars congratulated her in the comments, including Richie’s runner-up Nikki Gogan.

“Wonderful news Alex,” she shared, “My warm congratulations to you and your family.”

“Congratulations Darling,” second runner-up Olena added, with Kiki Morris also writing, “I’m so happy for you! Congrats fam.”

“Eeeee!!! Congratulations Alex! And welcome Maxwell, to this side of the world,” Megan Leto Marx replied.

Others from the reality TV franchise also shared their well wishes, with Bachelor In Paradise star Alisha Aitken-Radburn commenting, “Wow, welcome Maxwell”.

“Congratulations beautiful, he is absolute perfection,” Bachelor Locky’s winner Irena Srbinovska replied.

“Beautiful moment! Congratulations Alex,” Bachelorette’s Todd King remarked.
