Summer is basically here, and as school holidays and the festive season descends, you may be planning a family road trip or looking for aspirational and affordable travel goals for 2025. And what better way to find a great escape than by sussing out which caravan and holiday parks have been crowned in this year's Jayco's 'Greatest Escapes of 2024' list.

Jayco, an Australian caravan manufacturer, has revealed the data for popular holiday spots this year, with travellers voting the BIG4 Gold Coast Holiday Park as number one for the prestigious title of Best Overall Caravan Park in Australia.

However, when it came to the inaugural People's Choice award, Crescent Head in NSW was chosen and for very good reason. Set between the picturesque river and beach at Crescent Head, one hour from Port Macquarie, and with a variety of affordable accommodation options, the family-friendly and pet-friendly holiday park has been growing in popularity with Aussies looking for a getaway without breaking the bank.
