Yahoo Lifestyle Aubrey Plaza Embraces Witchy Inspiration in Black Lace Loewe Dress for the ‘Agatha All Along’ Red Carpet
Aubrey Plaza brought a witchy style sensibility to the red carpet launch event of the new Disney+ and Marvel Television series “Agatha All Along” on Monday in Los Angeles. “The White Lotus” Emmy-nominated actress was joined by her costars for the event.
For the series launch, Plaza seemed to pay sartorial homage to the show’s witchy narrative, opting for a strapless black lacy dress with sheer fabric by Loewe. The dress featured exposed boning on the bodice and a flowing, entirely sheer skirt.

The black lace detailing featured a variety of floral and botanical designs. The dress also featured a structural element on the skirt, with exposed boning creating a cage illusion at Plaza’s hips.
Plaza’s hair was styled in a tousled half-up, half-down look with natural waves by Mark Townsend. Her makeup, by Kathy Jeung, featured bold brows and eyes with a soft pink lip. Plaza’s look was curated by stylist and costume designer Jessica Paster.
Plaza has previously styled pieces by Loewe for red carpet events. At the 2024 Emmy Awards last January, the actress wore a buttery yellow satin gown by the Spanish luxury fashion house, featuring a square bodice with a giant gold pin stuck through the fabric.
For her Monday “Agatha All Along” attire, Plaza looked to the ongoing sheer trend that’s been seen on red carpets throughout 2024, including the Tribeca Film Festival, ESPY Awards and 2024 Met Gala.
Following the events of “WandaVision,” the miniseries “Agatha All Along” follows Agatha Harkness, played by Kathryn Hahn, as she tries to regain her powers. The miniseries also stars Patti LuPone. “Agatha All Along” debuts on Disney+ on Sept. 18.
