Ashley Darby Reveals Status of Her Divorce as She Says Ex Michael Darby Is 'in the Streets Every Weekend'
The 'Real Housewives of Potomac' star filed for divorce from her husband of eight years in November 2024 and now says she hears "all about" his dating escapades
Ashley Darby’s divorce may soon be finalized.
“It’s in the hands of Virginia State,” the Real Housewives of Potomac star, 36, told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live on Sunday, Jan. 12.
In November, Darby filed for divorce from her husband of eight years, Michael Darby, with whom she shares sons Dean, 5, and Dylan, 3. Darby has since been seeing Josh Gudenburr, who she met at a speed dating event shown on Housewives.
“He’s a good guy,” Darby said to Cohen of Gudenburr, 30.

The reality star also explained that she and Gudenburr haven’t quite defined their relationship yet. “We don’t have labels at the moment, but we are only banging each other,” Darby said after confirming to Cohen, 56, that Gudenburr is a good lover.
As for whether her estranged husband has started dating anyone, Darby said, “Michael's in the streets every weekend.”
And she constantly hears about it. “People tell me all the time, which I'm happy, go live your life, have a great time, but I hear all about it,” Darby said.
The mother of two said that she and the real estate mogul, 65, “went from parallel parenting to co-parenting” their sons, and now “we're good.”

But her kids still have some questions about the split. “Dean actually asked me the other day, ‘Why don't you and Daddy live together?’” Darby revealed. “So as far as they know, we just don't live under the same roof, that’s it.”
Darby said her castmate Gizelle Bryant has been the most supportive out of all of the Potomac Housewives. “She's been here before,” Darby continued. “She's like, ‘This situation looks very familiar. Here's how I handled it. Here's where I am now.’ So it gives me a lot of hope.”
Darby confirmed her separation in April 2022, telling The Daily Dish, “We are aware that there will be many speculative views as to why we have made this decision. People will be quick to assume that the causes were too much intrusion by reality TV into the most personal parts of our lives, age gap issues, cultural problems or child-rearing differences. Pieces of all these may have affected our pure love for each other, but no one reason is the root cause of our mutual decision to go our separate ways.”

The Bravolebrity added that she and Michael “are now both at very different stages in our lives and have different goals for our futures,” but “both want the other to achieve true happiness and fulfillment and feel that we cannot do this together."
Sources told PEOPLE in July that Darby will appear on an upcoming Peacock dating series also featuring Bryant, 54, Luann de Lesseps (The Real Housewives of New York City) and Shannon Storms Beador (The Real Housewives of Orange County). The insiders claimed at the time that the show, tentatively titled Love Hotel, would be filming in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico and air sometime in 2025. Bravo has not yet announced the series.
