Ariana Grande held space for an endearing moment with her young Wicked costar on the red carpet at the 2025 Golden Globes.

The actress and pop star reunited with Cesily Collette Taylor, who played the child version of Elphaba's younger sister Nessarose, ahead of the big ceremony at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles on Sunday, as captured in a video by Entertainment Weekly.

In it, the young Taylor, adorned in a polka dot dress and whimsical bow, presents her costar with some gifts before the two exchange a hug. Taylor's father told EW at Universal Filmed Entertainment Group's Golden Globes Post-Party at Lavo in West Hollywood that he and his daughter were in a trinket store, where they stumbled upon the perfect Wicked-inspired gifts.

Grande was gifted a wand with a star on it, while fellow costars Cynthia Erivo and Ethan Slater were gifted a little broom and tin trinket, respectively. The young star has been accessorizing with little purses on the red carpet leading up to the big awards show, having previously carried a pink unicorn in her purse at one of the premieres.

At the Golden Globes hosted by Nikki Glaser, the big screen adaptation of the Broadway hit conjured up four nominations, taking home one for best box office and cinematic achievement — a category introduced at last year's ceremony.

Taking the stage to accept the award alongside cast members that also included Michelle Yeoh and Jeff Goldblum, director Jon M. Chu thanked moviegoers. “This is for you, the fans out there who came to the movie theaters," he said. "We saw your videos, we saw your singalongs, we saw your makeup, your hair products, your bakery items. And it shows us how important making this stuff is."

"In a time when pessimism and cynicism rule the planet right now, we can still make art that is a radical act of optimism, that is empowerment and that is joy," added Chu. "So when we discover that maybe the world isn't exactly the way we thought it was, maybe [we all have] a little bit of Elphaba inside of us ... that maybe we have that courage and that strength to not give up but to rise up."

The film has become the highest-grossing film based on a Broadway musical, generating more than $680 million worldwide since its Nov. 22 theatrical debut. Part 2 arrives Nov. 21 of this year.
