Ariana Grande Channels Old Hollywood Glamour in 1960s Givenchy Dress for Golden Globes 2025 Red Carpet

Ariana Grande embraced archival fashion at the Golden Globes 2025 on Sunday in Los Angeles, wearing a pastel yellow gown from Givenchy’s couture spring 1966 collection by Hubert de Givenchy. The actress completed the look with Stuart Weitzman heels and Swarovski crystals.

Grande was styled by Mimi Cuttrell, who purchased the dress from Rita Watnick of LILY et Cie, an exclusive Archival Shop in Beverly Hills.

Cuttrell collaborated with Grande during the “Wicked” press tour, which saw the actress embracing method dressing in looks inspired by her character in the movie, Glinda. Grande was seen in looks by Thom Browne, Balmain, Loewe and Mugler, among others.

During the film’s press tour, Grande wore different archival pieces, including a 1986 Chanel dress, a 1959 Christian Dior by Yves Saint Laurent gown and a 1963 polka-dot ensemble by Pierre Balmain.

On Friday, Grande attended the 2025 Palm Springs Film Festival, where she was honored as Rising Star of the year in a custom Louis Vuitton ballgown.

Grande was nominated for a Golden Globe this year for her performance in “Wicked.” This is her first nomination for the award. “I am absolutely overwhelmed and privileged to receive recognition from members of @goldenglobes, shedding tears (naturally),” she wrote on her Instagram following the nomination announcement in December.

The 2025 Golden Globes ceremony celebrates over eight decades of honoring entertainment excellence. Broadcast on CBS and hosted by Nikki Glaser, this year’s event featured 27 categories, including drama, comedy and limited series.
