Anne Hathaway has revealed one acting job on her bucket list that she hasn't fulfilled yet, and 'tis the season — the Hollywood star confessed she'd love to be cast in a Christmas movie.

During a recent interview, the actress said she knew it was a "weird" bucket-list item, but she was "desperate" to spread some holiday joy in a festive movie.

Anne has had a stellar career since her breakout role in The Princess Diaries and has starred in everything from box-office hits to indie films, and everything from dramas to rom-coms. But could we see her in one of Netflix's cheesy Christmas movies soon? Never say never.

“I haven’t made a great Christmas movie,” she told Women's Wear Daily. “I know that’s a weird bucket list thing, but I’m desperate to make a Christmas movie.”

“There’s a lot of different ways your career can go as an actor, and I’m very, very, very aware of that,” she continued. “And I’m genuinely amazed that this is the version that I’m having.”

It was revealed earlier this year that Anne would be reprising her roles as Mia Thermopolis in The Princess Diaries and as Andy Sachs in The Devil Wears Prada, with Anne saying she'd love to make the sequels for the films "as soon as possible".

“I was so beautifully cared for on both of those films,” she recalled. “I was a baby, like a legal child, when I made Princess Diaries — I turned 18 while we were making it. And I was a very, very young woman when I made Devil Wears Prada.”
