Angelina Jolie has finally made her glamorous, highly-anticipated arrival at the 2025 Golden Globe Awards—and she brought her daughter, Zahara, along for the star-studded occasion.

The actress wore a whimsical silver sequined gown, while her 19-year-old daughter complimented her in a white dress with a black tree design wrapping around one hip.

Although Zahara doesn't often accompany her mother to her red carpet events, the pair stepped out just a few days ago for the Palm Springs International Film Festival Film Awards. In 2023, Zahara joined the Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority during a lunch at Spelman College. During her speech, she seemingly dropped "Pitt" from her name.

Jolie is no stranger to the prestigious ceremony, as she has been nominated nine times and won three times, but her appearance at this year's event is sure to be remembered just by her ensemble alone. The Atelier Jolie founder strayed a little from her tried-and-tested chic LBD for Sunday night's award ceremony. Instead, she opted for an edgier look, wearing a sheer dress that was absolutely dripping in silver sequins. The gown was composed of individual, randomly placed strands of sequins that revealed haphazard cut-outs and gave way to a fringe-effect skirt, giving the dress a sort of just-been-shipwrecked look.

She kept with the edgier vibes, wearing several stacked silver earrings, including a cuff with a small chain on one ear. As for her hair, she wore it straight in a half-up, half-down 'do with a small pouf at the top.

The musical drama in which she stars follows the famed opera singer's flashy yet tumultuous life in the spotlight in 1970s Paris.

Following the rollout of Maria, Jolie spoke about the emotional experience of making the movie.

"What got me the most was, towards the end of [Maria's] life, there was a lot of cruelty, and she was very unsupported. I knew that the whole team wanted to approach it with love and respect for her, so I thought we’d try," she told Cynthia Erivo during an installment of Variety's "Actors on Actors" conversation.

The actress-producer explained that she learned Italian opera for seven months to prepare for the role. "I didn’t realize the practice of it and the learning of it is one thing, but it was finding my voice and letting my voice out that was really hard for me. And I was really emotional about it," Jolie said.

Although it took Jolie plenty of practice to nail the portrayal, she may have unknowingly been sartorially manifesting the opportunity, going all the way back to the 2018 Golden Globes. Jolie last attended the award show in an outfit that looks straight out of the movie. Back then, she wore an elegant black gown that featured a sheer neckline and long sleeves, dramatic feathery cuffs, ruching details along the torso, and a trailing wispy skirt. She pulled her long dark locks back into a refined updo with fame-framing tendrils and glammed up with a sultry smoky eye.
