Andy Cohen reveals the ‘most chaotic’ Real Housewives moment in history

The American host is dishing on his favourite moments from the franchise

Andy Cohen, 54, might just be one of the busiest men in the business. Known for hosting his late-night talk show, Watch What Happens Live, and spearheading the Real Housewives franchise, the Bravo star is currently in town visiting Sydney for WorldPride.

Nearly 17 years ago, we were first introduced to the host during the season one reunion episode of Real Housewives of Orange County. Since then, he has become a fixture of the reality TV scene, interviewing countless stars ranging from the Kardashians to Oprah Winfrey.

Speaking with Yahoo Lifestyle, Andy shared that when it comes to interviewing our homegrown talent, "there really isn’t a bad Aussie in the bunch" and ranks Kylie Minogue and Iggy Azalea as some of his favourite stars to join him in the WWHL clubhouse.

"I love Kylie. Always," he said. "She's always a great guest, and there's so much to talk to her about. Iggy Azalea has been on a few times, and it's really fun. I mean, there are so many [Aussies], and everyone is just great, has great spirit, and is very kind."

With 10 current iterations of The Real Housewives currently on air and Andy an executive producer on all of them, his already busy schedule means he spends a lot of time behind-the-scenes prepping for those all-important reunion episodes.

“I think that everything I do is ramping up for those reunions,” the host tells us. “I have the guests on Watch What Happens Live throughout the season; I listen to what the fans are saying, I’m watching cuts of the shows and I’m hearing about it when it's being shot. I walk in there pretty set to do what I need to do.”

Facing more than his fair share of controversial or problematic Housewives, we couldn’t help but be curious to know what topped his list when it came to some of the more chaotic moments in Housewives history.

With a front-row seat to the ongoing drama that made this show the global phenomenon it is now, Andy admits there isn’t just one that comes to mind when reflecting on the last 17 years of chaos.

"I mean, what always stands out is the table flip, Aviva's leg toss or Jen Shah's arrest; there's just such a long list."
