Yahoo Lifestyle Amid The LA Wildfires, The Internet Is Roasting Lil' Kim For Praying For A Monsoon To Hit LA
Amid the LA wildfires, prayers and well-wishes are pouring in from celebrities. While many are sharing resources and donation links, Lil' Kim posted a different message that's now going viral.
"Been sending strong prayers up for LA and everyone affected by the fires. This is heartbreaking," she wrote in an image shared across her social media accounts.
"I pray to Jesus that God make it monsoon in LA," she concluded.

"What’s happening is devastating and what LA really needs right now is rain—so what’s the issue? Doesn’t everyone understand that a monsoon is heavy rain?"

While she is correct, wet monsoons can still be dangerous as they can cause flash floods and landslides, and the lightning from the storms can start wildfires. Even so, her heart was clearly in the right place!
