Allison Langdon's Today blunder goes viral on James Corden's US show

A video of Allison Langdon’s awkward interview has gone viral worldwide after US chat show James Corden aired the segment on his show.

Last week, Allison’s Today show co-host Karl Stefanovic was left in tears of laughter during an interview the pair were conducting on air with landscapers.

They were all discussing a type of grass known as couch grass, when Allison asked the men for some tips on her own grass at home.

“I want to ask, because my cooch is dying,” Allison started, before becoming distracted after Karl immediately burst out laughing.

“The dog peed all over it,” Allison continued.

Karl was unable to control his fit of giggles, as Allison looked at him bemused over what was so funny.

“I don’t understand what’s going on with my co-host,” Allison said.

At this stage, Karl had to hide behind his notes as he was laughing so hard.

“That’s possibly the best segment ever,” Karl said, with Allison saying she still didn’t get what was so funny in the studio.

A clip of the segment has now made its way overseas, with James Corden showing it to his millions of audience members on The Late Late Show with James Corden.

“An Australian television host had a bit of an accidental slip-up while discussing lawn maintenance live on the air,” he said before introducing the footage.

“Here she is discussing her problems with a type of grass called couch grass, which she pronounces differently.”

The whole studio was laughing at the video, with James adding: “Everyone needs to grow up ok. She’s just talking about trimming her grass Down Under.”
