Aldi's Christmas lobster tails are back - but you'll have to be quick

Aussies love their seafood at Christmas time, and Aldi's luxury seafood specials fly off the shelves every year as families clear their freezers to make room for the gourmet entertaining centrepieces.

Mark in the calendar Wednesday, 25 October, as the supermarket is releasing its frozen festive seafood range for those super-organised hosts who want to make sure they have the first choice of what's on offer.

Top of the list for families around the country this year will no doubt be the lobster tails, tiger prawns and scallops, so let's take a closer look at what Aldi is serving up.

"Aldi's frozen seafood range offers a convenient option for customers looking to plan ahead this festive season, with additional fresh seafood products to be made available in time for Christmas Day," said Aldi's Kylie Warnke.

If you want to make a great first impression with guests over the festive period, Aldi has a selection of seafood canapés on offer.

The Ocean Royale Lobster Puff Pastry Canapés 8pk/240g ($6.99) offer premium lobster meat with cream cheese and herb filling in a puff pastry for an indulgent starter.
