On average a similar chair will set shoppers back around the $500 mark, meaning Aldi’s offering will cost customers less than half the average price.
Customers are already champing at the bit to get their hands on the buy, with those who got lucky last time it hit shelves reporting they ‘love’ the bargain piece.
“Hoping to get one also!!” one shopper wrote.
“Can’t wait to get this!” another agreed.
Outdoor furniture set creates a buzz
Other items to get excited about include a three-piece outdoor furniture set described as ‘multi-functional’.
Retailing for $499, the set can be arranged into a variety of ensembles including a daybed, two separate sunchairs, an L-shaped outdoor couch and more.
Both products will sadly be unavailable for Victorian customers in metro areas under stage-four restrictions due to their bulky frames requiring two people to lift them.
Current restrictions restrict shopping to just one member of a household.
Also on sale is the supermarket’s famous outdoor Woodfire Pizza Oven which goes for $179 which has prompted a wave of enthusiasm for eager shoppers.
Buzz online has already started, with customers urged to adhere to coronavirus safety protocols when purchasing the items.
