Aldi launches most luxurious Christmas range ever: 'Yum'

Christmas is well and truly in the air - and on supermarket shelves - with Aldi getting shoppers excited after announcing its most 'luxurious' Christmas range yet.

From October 27, shoppers will be able to nab 21 new premium products as part of the German retailer's Curated Collection range, and one of them already has people drooling.

The range starts at just $3.99 for Mediterranean-style dukkah, with the most expensive item being a luxury wagyu biltong for $19.99.

However, another item for $19.99 is a 30-month matured pudding (907g) from the UK, which is arguably going to be the most popular, with people already sharing their excitement for it on social media.

"Yummm," one person commented on facebook

While another stressed: "We gotta go".

Aldi will also have a 10-month pudding for $14.99, which was finished in the Hunter Region in NSW.

The decadent range also includes iced Christmas cake for $16.99 which is also available in different sizes, roasted and salted mixed nuts for $12.99, and $4.99 six-packs of buttery mince pies.

Made in the UK, Aldi's Luxury All Butter Fruit Mince Pies are made with a combination of brandy and cognac-infused dried fruits.

The Curated Collection’s range of sweet treats include a milk and dark chocolate salted caramels that have been sourced in Ireland and a range of fudge which was made in Yorkshire, UK.

The “irresistible” fudge comes in five different flavours - butter, clotted cream, gingerbread, salted caramel, and Canadian maple.
